Duties and Responsibilities
A janitor/cleaner/custodian oversees keeping the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. The
following responsibilities include:

  • Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs work assignments in a team with other employees.
  • Take direction and respond to supervision.
  • Talk with manager, peers, and customers in a professional manner.
  • Use proper personal protective equipment.
  • Understand customer service and satisfaction.
  • Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, and restrooms.
  • Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
  • Maintain cleaning inventory and placing orders for new products when needed.
  • Remove debris from sidewalks.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins.

Job Type:

  • Full-Time/Part-time
  • After 5pm

  • Ability to change tasks or assignments outside normal duties.
