The 6th Annual Youth Hip Hop and Leadership Summit was livestreamed on the Paving Great Futures YouTube and Facebook pages. The event was hosted by local artists Ryan Anthony and Lil Weirdo and includes highlights from well-known, locally respected artists and business owners that give insight and inspiration on the music business, unity, conflict resolution, continuing their education, and responsible life skills.

Nine contestants ages 5 through 17 met at The Origin Hip Hop Academy in Mission Valley Mall on June 5 and performed in front of local rappers, contest judges and family members.

Contestants competed to win the 1st place prize – $1,000 cash, a laptop, professional production and a music video of their song. Thanks to the generous support and contributions of King Aminpour – Car Accident Attorney, there will also be cash prizes and gift bags for the second third place contestants.
